Marilyn Nelson FIRP
Marilyn Nelson has always worked in the service industry.
After graduating from the Civil Service and teaching English to Japanese students, Marilyn went on to study for a degree in business administration whilst owning and operating a pet shop. She then went on to set up a promotions company operating in airport terminals before deciding property was where her real interests lay.
After briefly working for another agency, she quickly realised there was a real need for dedicated sales people who could provide the same quality and commitment as a permanent and therefore went on to establish Highflyers .
Marilyn actively encourages the Highflyers sales team to support both the team and the clients and is always appreciative of the loyalty received from both clients and staff!
Tad Brundage – Finance
Tad has held executive positions at insurance brokers including Marsh, as a Managing Director of Marsh Marine & Energy Inc., and Minet Inc, where he was President of Marine, Energy & Construction brokerage operations. Tad holds a BS in Finance and Insurance from Rider University and an MBA in Business Administration and Finance from Adelphi University.
Yolande Issartel – Administration
Yolande worked for a number of years as a PA for a training / TV production company, later moving into the business satellite industry within the financial services sector. A career change saw her move into the Promotions business where she first met Marilyn . She later went on to work as an Accounts Administrator looking after schedules, client accounts and financial records. It was whilst working for this company she re -connected with Marilyn and joined her team of Sales Negotiators. It was a natural move to bring her financial and accounting skills to run the back office, providing invaluable support to enable Marilyn to go on to grow the business year on year.
Don Callaway – Technology Consultant
Don has been an Information Technology professional for well over twenty years and has experience in all areas of IT, including Internet services, networking, software engineering, and of course WordPress.
A lifelong resident of the Texas Gulf Coast, Don holds a BA in Computer Information Systems from University of Houston/Clear Lake and has managed complex software projects for some of the world’s largest Houston-based corporations, including Shell Oil, Honeywell, McKinsey & Co, Enron, Sysco Foods, Dynegy and others.
